Fellowship

Introduction

The objective of Winfocus-Switzerland fellowship is to establish a post-graduate and undergraduate training programs in point of care ultrasound in our Winfocus-Switzerland centers with Winfocus certified tutors.

The goal of this fellowship is to make available to Winfocus members a variety of opportunities at centers throughout the Swiss for training in point of care ultrasound. The diversity of the Winfocus community around the world is its strength and people can look to this program to become point-of-care ultrasound experts and leaders or just to gain confidence in their scanning ability.

The concept is to have a survey organized and supervised by our Winfocus Directors that outlines the structure of the training opportunity and then to have each center reviewed and approved by the Board of Winfocus Global. Applicants must be Winfocus members in order to apply and will contact our secretary first to have their membership confirmed.

In their email to Winfocus-Switzerland secretary, the applicant will list the centers they are interested in and, once their membership is confirmed, Winfocus-Switzerland secretary will send to the applicant an application; the applicant will contact the training centers directly to apply to the program. Once the applicant is accepted by the program and the parties agree on a training contract, Winfocus-Switzerland secretary need the confirm by the training center to certify the applicant participation. Winfocus-Switzerland will provide a “certificate of attendance” for each scholar once he or she completes the training program, according to Winfocus global program.
