Emergency Pediatric Ultrasound

The Pediatric Emergency and Critical Care Ultrasound Course provides participants with a strong foundation to perform the core ultrasound applications as outlined in the ultrasound practice guidelines. The program is taught by leading ultrasound international expert physician and sonographers to provide the perfect balance of physicians’ clinical experience and sonographers expertise. Main objective is to demonstrate the participant’s knowledge to better perform and/or interpret pediatric emergency and critical care ultrasound examination, demonstrating protocols for evaluation of trauma patients, according to actual ultrasound guidelines.

HOT INSTRUCTION - PEDIATRIC US

  • 4 Workstations (A1, A2, A3, A4)
  • 6 hours of practical works
  • 3 rounds
    • HOT 1 = first day (120 min)
    • HOT 2 = first day (120 min)
    • HOT 3 = second day (120 min)
  • 4 Groups (4-5 people for each)
  • Rotation
    • HOT 1 = every 30 min
    • HOT 2 = every 30 min
    • HOT 3 = every 30 min
